I'm a Student & I'm Struggling to Cover an Unexpected Car Repair! Please Help!
My Story:
I am a single 26-year-old woman. I'm currently a graduate student, receiving my master's in clinical mental health counseling. I only work part-time, since I am in my last year of school, which also requires a year of internship. I work at a digital marketing agency and specialize in photography.
Being a graduate student who works part-time, finances have been difficult. Thankfully I tend to make my bills on time; however, I have encountered an unexpected financial burden. I own a 2006 Honda Accord. I have had a braking fluid leak, which makes driving unsafe. I have plans to take it to the shop, but I know this will be a big financial blow. This vehicle is my transportation to work and school so letting this repair go isn't an option for me. So, I'm very humbly requesting assistance with this car repair.
If I cannot finance this repair, my vehicle will continue to be unsafe to drive, and I will have extreme difficulty getting to my job and school. I am worried about my safety and the financial struggles I will continue to face if I don't get my vehicle fixed and am unable to get to work. With this help though, I'll be able to keep my job and continue to focus on my school work. Truly, I will never forget this assistance, and I promise that once I graduate, I will find a way to pay it forward.
