After a Job Opportunity Fell Through, I Need Help Catching Up Please!
My Story:
I am a 27-year-old female with a bachelor's and a master's degrees in Exercise Science. My background and career are based around fitness and assisting people with their lifestyle goals both mentally and physically speaking. I love what I do, but right now I'm struggling after a job opportunity I accepted fell through unexpectedly.
I recently started a new job, but it didn't work out exactly as I expected it to. Originally, I was hired by one owner and then the ownership changed, so my hiring agreement also changed. What the previous owner promised, the new owners could not uphold, as there was nothing in writing. This has turned into a very complicated situation, and the old owner is currently under investigation as a result of this. When I began this job, I expected to be making a lot more than what I'm currently making, but I need to work, so I had no choice but to accept what the new owner was willing to offer in terms of pay. Even with the reduced pay, I was able to get by until recently. My brother tragically passed away, and I've been assisting my family with the funeral expenses. On top of that, I have missed work while grieving, adding to my financial hardship.
As a result of these two hardships, I'm behind on my car insurance and my phone bill, and I'm going to lose both if I can't get caught up soon. Not having either service would really jeopardize my employment, as I need both to stay in touch with work and to get to work safely. In addition to making sure I can keep my job, this will free up some more of my income to go towards my other bills, thereby stabilizing my situation across the board. Thank you to everyone who helps me in advance. I will never forget this.
