I'm in Marine Training & Need Physical Therapy. Please Help!
My Story:
I'm currently an active-duty Marine Corps veteran. My career has hit a bit of a roadblock because I've been diagnosed with Lymes Disease. While it's been difficult to train, I am still in the process of becoming a PMO with the Marines, and I'm hoping to become a dog handler. I am usually energetic and a hard worker! However lately, it has been very hard to get through training, and I'm struggling with my fitness and overall health.
As only a PFC, I don't make enough to pay for the outside services related to my diagnosis that military tri-care won't pay for. My muscles are usually completely shot and many times I have been recommended to go to physical therapy to get IMS needling done. However, tri-care does not pay for this when under student status, which I am currently in. I desperately need physical therapy, but I can't afford it on my own, so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with that medical expense.
Specifically, I need help affording physical therapy in order to help relieve the pain Lymes Disease has inflicted on my muscles. All the muscles in my back and legs are completely worn, and they need to be strengthened. With this support, I will be able to get my feet back under me, so to speak, and I'll be able to get through training and graduate in early 2023. I will never forget the support that I receive, and I promise to pay it forward by serving my country proudly.
