Dear Community, I want to thank you'll for the outstanding support to me and my family during this time of need. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer a few months ago and things seemed to go full speed overnight. With excessive medical bills such as copays, deductibles for surgeries and prescriptions left me with more stress not being able to afford the added bills alongside the monthly obligations and totally wiping out my savings. Knowing that there are people out there that are willing to help others in critical need definitely makes my heart sing. Even though I just started treatment and have a fairly long road to go, the support has allowed me to focus more on my health.
After Being Diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I'm Struggling with Our Monthly Bills. Please Help!
My Story:
I'm a single mother, and I have two young children at home. Recently, my family has been dealt a tragic blow, as I have been diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer. In the past two months, I've had two different surgeries that have caused me to struggle financially. Alongside missing work while recovering from my surgeries, I have also incurred a lot of medical bills. My insurance has a very high deductible that I have to meet, and I also have high copays that I have to cover for major surgeries and treatments. In addition to the copays and deductibles, I also have high prescription drug costs to cover. My family has been hit very hard by this diagnosis, and we're struggling to cover a lot of our bills now.
Normally, we earn enough to meet our monthly expenses, but this diagnosis has changed that. I provide for my family, but we live from paycheck to paycheck, so when I was diagnosed with cancer, we didn't have any savings to rely on when the medical bills started to roll in. As a result, I'm really having a hard time keeping up with some of our monthly bills. We're already behind on our electric and internet bills, and we're about to lose both services if we can't catch up soon.
For the sake of my family, I'm humbly asking for assistance with our electric and internet bills please. As a continue my battle with cancer, it's going to be really important for me to manage our financial situation as best as I can. This assistance would be a huge step in the right direction in that regard, and it would give me some much needed relief and hope, thereby allowing me to refocus my attention on beating this cancer so that I can be there for my children. Truly, this assistance would be life-altering and even life-saving for my family, and I would like to thank everyone who lends us a hand with these two bills.
