After Experiencing Stroke-Like Symptoms, I Need Help Affording Medical Treatment!

My Story:

I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful kids. My 18-year-old is a smart and funny girl who loves anything with a strawberry pattern. My 16-year-old is excited about driving and being back in school this year. We also have our Boston Terrier, Missy, who is one spoiled girl. We love spending time with her, and she has been a wonderful companion since I've become ill.

We got hit hard in August of 2021 when I had an episode where I could not walk or talk for several minutes. It's not something that you expect to happen at just 42 years old, but my doctors confirmed that I had experienced TIA/stroke-like symptoms. Thankfully, I have been blessed to be able to see a lot of specialists to try to figure out what's going on, but between seeing those specialists and the time that I spent in the hospital, I've been struggling to try to keep up with all of the medical bills that I've incurred. On top of that, I've had to pay for two different vehicle repairs after my car broke down, and then again after its replacement broke down. We're really struggling right now, so I'm humbly asking for assistance with this medical bill before it gets sent to collections.

I'm really worried about having this bill sent to collections, but our financial situation in general has been very hard for me to deal with. It's been so hard not being able to buy things for my kids like graduation announcements for my daughter or even school pictures for my son. It's taking a real toll on us, and if this bill is sent to collections, it could begin to take a toll on my health as well. For that reason, I'm humbly asking for assistance with this medical bill. It would be a tremendous relief to my family to receive this assistance, and most importantly, it will allow me to continue to receive the treatments that I need to remain healthy.
