I Had to Switch Jobs & Need Help Keeping Our Lights On Please!

My Story:

I am a 37-year-old single father of the most amazing 5 year old little girl in the world. My daughter loves life and is full of nothing but positivity. She provides a constant inspiration and motivation for me to continue to strive to be the best father and person that I can be. Truly she gives me a purpose in life, and that purpose is to make sure she is taken care of and provided for.

The primary cause of our most recent hardship is mostly due to the pandemic, but I also decided to leave my job after the company started to lose their moral compass and after my hours were significantly reduced. I had worked at the restaurant I was previously employed at for 13 years as a manager, but during the pandemic, their operating policies started to alarm me, and was no longer able to take pride in or feel good about the service that I was providing for my community. I definitely was not planning a change in careers, as I was gainfully employed, able to pay and keep up on bills, and able to maintain a safe and happy household for my daughter and I. Now, due to the gap in employment I was dealing with, I'm behind on our electric bill and have no way of catching up in time to keep our lights on.

I'm working full-time again, but I don't have the means to catch up on our electric bill and need help. The heat this summer has caused our utility bill to rise, and without any income, I haven't been able to meet the rising cost of electricity. With that said, I'm humbly asking for help with getting caught up, as this is the last bill that we need to get current on in order to be fully self-sufficient again. For the sake of my daughter, I would be very grateful to all of the kind people who help us with this bill and who help us get back on our feet after a difficult few months.
