I Missed Work While Caring for My Young Daughter. Please Help Us Keep Our Home!

My Story:

I'm a dedicated mother and advocate for my two babies. My oldest is my almost 2-year-old daughter who is full of energy and ideas. My younger daughter is only 10 months old and has a range of disabilities that require a lot of attention and care. She's a chunky bundle of joy who is very sweet and who's always happy! I'm raising them both entirely on my own, and while that can be difficult, I wouldn't change anything. To be completely honest, my daughters saved my life.

It's only been in the last two months that we discovered my youngest daughter has disabilities. While it's news that no parent wants to hear, I've come to terms with it. Still, we don't know exactly what's affecting her, but the doctors suspect it could be epilepsy. The last two months have been incredibly chaotic. We're moving from doctor to doctor and test to test just to try to get my daughter the right diagnosis and the treatment that she needs. Due to the constant need to be with my daughter during this time, I've missed a lot of work while taking her to and from the hospital and doctor's appointments.

For the sake of my daughters, I'm humbly asking for assistance with our rent and electric bill so that we can remain in our home until I can return to work again. As we try to navigate my youngest daughter's diagnosis, this is a very difficult time for my family. With that said, we would cherish the assistance that we receive forever, and it would truly be a lifesaving act of kindness. Thank you.
