We're Going to Lose Our Only Vehicle Right After Repairing It. Please Help Us with Our Car Note!
My Story:
My wife and I have been married for 34 years, and we've always done the best that we can to support and care for one another no matter how hard things get. We're normally able to pay our own way and remain self-sufficient, but lately, we've run into a couple of obstacles that have made our financial situation very difficult. I'm a veteran, and right now, I'm trying to start a business of my own. It's been difficult to focus on getting that off of the ground because my wife just recently lost her job, and we've been struggling to keep up with our monthly bills as a result.
Even with my wife out of work, we were able to keep up with our bills from month to month, but we've started to fall behind after having to deal with some car troubles. Our only vehicle broke down a few weeks ago, and like any family that's living from paycheck to paycheck, we held our breath as we took it to the repair shop. We feared the worse, and that's exactly what it was. It turns out our vehicle needed extensive repairs, and so we had to sacrifice paying some of our monthly bills in order to cover the repairs. As a result, we're behind on our car payments, and now it's in danger of being repossessed. After paying to repair it, it would be devastating to lose our only vehicle, so we're very humbly seeking assistance with catching up on our car payments.
Keeping our only vehicle is extremely important for my wife and I, as we rely on it for almost everything. I need it to get to and from doctor's and VA appointments, and my wife will need it once she finds work again. She has interviews lined up that she won't be able to get to if we lose our vehicle, but if we're able to get help with our car payments, then she'll be able to get to those interviews, find work, and we can get back on our feet again. We would greatly appreciate this assistance, and we will definitely pay it forward as soon as we're able to get back to work. Thank you!
