I'm Out of School & Starting My Own Business, but I Need Help Keeping My Phone & Lights On Please!

My Story:

I'm a young graduate, and I just recently finished up esthetician school. I'm in the process of opening up my own business, and while it's proving more difficult than I had imagined, I'm making progress. For the first time in a long time, I'm optimistic about my future. Still, I have some roadblocks that I need to get past first.

At the beginning of the COVID pandemic, I lost my job and decided to return to school full-time. Two years later, I graduated and am starting my own business; however, while I was in school, I burned through most of my savings, and now, I don't have an emergency fund. Until I can get my business off the ground, I'm going to struggle to meet my bills from month to month. The biggest problem that I have right now is that my landlord refuses to accept assistance from rent relief programs. As a result, almost all of my money is going towards my rent, and even though I've been approved for assistance, I can't get my landlord to accept it. This has caused me to get backed up on my other bills, so I'm seeking help with those. Specifically, I'm asking for help with both my phone and electric bill.

With my landlord threatening me with eviction, I can't afford to divert income away from my rent. However, if I lose these two services, I'm really going to struggle. With that said, this assistance would buy me more time to get on my feet and find a way to start getting a stable income. Thank you all in advance for your support, and I promise to do what I can to pay it forward when I have the opportunity.
