This person has left the following thank you note:

Thank you doesnt seem enough to show my appreciation for the generous donations that have been made on my behalf. Although I feel incredibly blessed to have secured a job thats allowing me to begin rebuilding my life financially, significant dental costs, such as the work Ive needed to have done on my front teeth could not have been possible without your help. Although Ive spent my life taking excellent care of myself, both health and dental wise, being proactive in preventative services, and purchasing two dental ins. plans, nothing really covers any significant resolutions when it comes to the reality of costs. Without organizations such as yours, it would not have been possible. Being a genuine, honest, and kind person has always been of extreme importance to me in how I choose to live my life. I look for ways I can show kindness to others in my daily life. This experience has only inspired me to do more, to pay it forward, in continuing to live my life with gratitude for the kindnesses and generosity shown to me by others, you. Thank you.

I'm Rebuilding After COVID & Can't Afford a Costly Dental Bill! Please Help.

My Story:

I'm 60 years old, and I live on my own. I work full-time, but despite that, I'm struggling to rebuild financially after the pandemic. I lost my job in June of 2020 after it became clear that my employer was going to have to make cuts due to the economic fallout of the pandemic. After searching for full-time work for a little under a year, I managed to find a new full-time position, but I've struggled to rebuild since then.

I enjoy my new job, but I struggle to make ends meet and live paycheck to paycheck with little to put away for emergencies most months. Lately, I've been having some issues with my teeth, and after having a had a temporary bridge for my front teeth, I was told they would need to make it permanent. I had the procedure done with the expectation that it would be at least partially covered by my insurance, but that wasn't the case. Since then, I've switched providers, and thankfully have found an option where part of the procedure is covered. However, the cost of the dental bill is still too steep for me to cover on top of all of my other bills while I'm still living paycheck to paycheck and recovering from the pandemic. Therefore, I'm humbly requesting assistance with this dental bill while I work to get back on track financially.

My main concern with this dental bill is that it will go to collections and cause my credit to be ruined, or even worse, that it will cause my wages to be garnished. The latter would severely undermine my financial situation, and it could lead to lasting consequences if, for instance, I lost my home. This assistance would allow me to continue to rebuild after the pandemic, and I could finally get back to a place where I'm self-sufficient and more stable financially. For that, I would be very grateful and would like to say 'thank you' to everyone who assists me with this bill.
