This person has left the following thank you note:

User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeBlessings to you all: First, allow me to give honor to GOD for the opportunities to open my eyes today. I thank you all for your kindness and grace. Things have been extremely difficult in trying to obtain work and maintain whatever I can online to earn a living. I will soon have another MRI to see if the swelling has gone down around the front part of my head and around my pituitary gland. Your help allows me to maintain contact with my doctors and also do counseling. Covid has caused significant issues in my life and seeing the tragedy that others have gone through the past 3-4 years, have helped keep me grounded and have a different perspective on things. I appreciate your kindness. It's not easy for some to continue to have grace in the face of difficult times, but all of you have. For that, I sincerely thank you.

I'm Struggling with Medical Issues Related to a Car Accident & I Need Help with an Electric Bill!

My Story:

I'm a 46-year-old man, and I live on my own and work hard to support myself. I help out local businesses by doing computer repair work and media marketing work for them, and often work as a freelancer in that capacity. However, that's been difficult to do because of COVID. My other job has also been impacted by COVID as well. I also work as a PCA for an elderly client but with COVID, I haven't been able to assist them consistently, so I haven't earned a lot of income from that in the past year.

A lot of the hardship that I've faced in the past year is the result of COVID, but I've also been facing several medical issues that have contributed to my situation as well. A few years ago, I broke both my feet and ankles in a car accident, and that severely limits the amount of physical labor I'm able to do. Then, in February of last year, I contracted COVID, and it took over six weeks for me to recover. I also am facing low muscle fatigue and various pains due to a damaged pituitary gland from the car accident. On top of all of those medical problems, I also struggle with my mental health and have been on Prozac for a while now. Those medical issues, combined with the pandemic, have made it difficult for me to work, and I've fallen behind on my bills as a result.

Right now I'm struggling to keep my internet and power on, both of which are vital to my ability to do any of the work that I do. Without power and internet, I can't find remote work, and I can't continue to do my computer repair work either. I also rely on my internet service for church, mental health counseling twice per week, and for communication with my family. Not being able to do all of that would really impact my mental health. So, for those reason, I'm very humbly asking for assistance with my electric and internet bills, and I would be very humbled and grateful to receive it. I promise it will never forget the kindness I'm shown.
