My Son & I Were Recently Diagnosed with a Chronic Illness & Need Help with a Medical Bill Please!
My Story:
I'm married, and together, my husband and I have three children. Our two oldest are 16 and 13 years old, and our youngest is 2 years old. We recently found out that my son and myself both suffer from pans/pandas and lymes disease. The treatment and cost of having to relocate from our old home due to mold and the health risk it poses to us, we've gone into debt but have managed to stay afloat until now.
We are basically working just to have all of our money go to bills at this point. The medical bills have been the biggest weight on us, and we really struggle with those when my son and I have tough months handling our symptoms. On top of that, when my symptoms flare up, I have a hard time working enough hours for us to get by. This past month was really difficult for both my son and I, so needless to say, our medical bills have skyrocketed as a result. I'm worried that if we can't pay our outstanding bill, then our wages will be garnished, but even more importantly, I'm worried that my son and I could be denied access to care.
That's why I'm humbly seeking assistance with this outstanding medical bill. This generous assistance would keep us afloat after a bad month, and it would do a lot to ease the stress that I'm under, which would have a massively positive impact on my health as well. As a mother, I worry more about my son being able to get treatment than anything else, so I would be hugely relieved and grateful for this generous assistance with our medical bill. I want to end by just saying 'thank you' to everyone who lends us a hand with this bill. We will never forget the kindness we're shown.
