I Abruptly Lost My Job, & I Need Help Keeping a Roof Over My Family's Heads!
My Story:
I'm happily married to my beautiful wife, and we've been together for more than 10 years now. We have a gorgeous 18-year-old daughter and a handsome 16-year-old son. Our children are really wonderful, and we love to spend time with them and our two dogs when we can. We're animal lovers, and we have a 2-year-old German Shepard and an 8-year-old black lab. Our family means everything to us, and we always do our best to lift each other up when things get hard.
I've found myself suddenly unemployed after my employers decided to up and leave the Kansas City area. Now, I've found myself out of work at a time where all of our bills are coming due. I've barely had any time to try to find a job again, and already we're behind on our rent. We don't have much in terms of savings to fall back on, so I'm humbly asking for help with our rent before we lose our home.
There's nothing between us and homelessness right now, and I'm really terrified for my family. Right now, I'm focused on finding a new job, but no one is hiring in my field in our area, so it could take longer than we can bear to find work again. I'm having a hard time even just sleeping at night knowing that any day my family could come home to a notice to vacate posted to our door. Having our rent taken care of for this month will buy me precious time to continue searching for work so that my family doesn't lose everything we've worked hard for. I would be so grateful for this help, and your assistance will guarantee that we can stay in our home until I can find work again.
