After Losing Our Daughter & Losing Work to COVID, We Need Help with Our Gas Bill Please!

My Story:

I'm a married mother of four little girls, one who now resides in Heaven after unexpectedly losing her while in the care of a babysitter. My three children who are still living help my husband and I keep her memory alive and remind us of her daily. I work full time at a non-medical in home care organization where I am an essential worker. My husband drives truck for a local company and although hired full time, he intermittently is laid off for periods of time for lack of work (most recently due to COVID with decrease in lack of work).

We're able to pay most of our bills, but we never have anything left over. We have nothing in savings, and all of our income goes strictly to our bills. We aren't able to take vacations or even go on small family outings because we won't be able to buy food if we do. Since we lost our daughter in June of 2019, we've been struggling even more financially. The funeral costs were difficult to manage, and since then, we just haven't been able to get back on track at all.

We recently had our gas shut off due to non-payment, and we desperately need help to get it turned back on. Our water is freezing so currently, we are boiling water and placing it in the tub so that girls are able to take warm enough baths. We can barely live in our home comfortably right now, and we can't afford to get our water turned back on if we want to keep a roof over our heads. If we can get our gas turned back on, then we'll be able to get on a payment plan with them so that we can better handle situations like this in the future. We'll be able to live comfortably again, and we'll be able to take care of our other bills. On behalf of my family, I want to thank everyone who helps us with this bill for your kindness and consideration during what's been a very difficult time for my family.
