We're Reeling from a Cancer Diagnosis & Need Help Keeping Our Home Please!
My Story:
My wife and I are blessed to live a life full of love. We have three amazing children together, and we love and cherish our time with them every single day. We try our best to really appreciate the little things life has to offer us, especially right now when times have been so tough. To say that we've had a hard year and a half would be putting it lightly. Covid-19 has hit us pretty hard financially and has made it difficult for us to find consistent work and income.
In addition to the struggles we've faced due to the pandemic, we're also facing several other hardships. Several months ago, I had tire blowout while I was driving, causing me to crash into a brick wall. Our car was totaled as a result, and with it being our only vehicle, we had to get it replaced. Struggling through Covid-19 and that car accident has pretty much drained any savings we had at all. Just when we thought things couldn't get any more difficult, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
Since my diagnoses, we have spent thousands of dollars trying to treat my cancer, and we've only just reached our insurance deductible. As a result, we've fallen behind on some of our other monthly expenses, and I'm really worried that the cost of my treatment will eventually cause us to lose our home. Right now, we're significantly far behind on our rent, and I'm asking humbly for help with catching up before we're evicted.
Honestly, it's difficult to focus on getting better when I'm worried about trying to keep a roof over my family's head, and I'm worried for them more than anything. Having met our insurance deductible, we just need to be able to hold onto to our home until I can beat this cancer and get back to working again. More than anything, I want to beat this and get back to taking care of my family, and with this help, I know I'll be able to do that. I'll never forget this assistance and the people who came together to help my family in our darkest hour. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity in advance.
