Medical Expenses Have Piled up & Are Threatening My Home! Please Help!
My Story:
I'm a single woman, and I'm living on my own after my daughter moved out recently. My family means everything to me, and there's nothing that I love more than spending time with my grandchildren. I got to see them more regularly when my daughter still lived with me, but I'm still thankful to have them around most days!
Recently, I've been battling some medical issues which have caused me to cut my hours back and retire partially. I'm an essential worker at a doctor's office, so I've been able to hold onto my job through the pandemic and have been able to keep up with my bills for the most part. However, these medical issues are really threatening my financial security. I haven't been able to work as often because of them, but I also have been incurring a lot of extra expenses because of them. My co-pays are beginning to reach upwards of $300 per month, and on top of that, I have to buy prescriptions as well which are also cutting into my income. I'm really worried that these expenses have piled up to the point where I won't be able to make my rent for this month, and I can't afford to get behind because I'll never be able to catch up with the income I rely on. So, I'm seeking urgent assistance with my rent for this month because it'll keep me from falling behind.
Being out of work and having my hours cut down because of a medical problem has been difficult for me to handle because I love my job and want to work to be able to sustain myself. However, right now I have to focus on my health and until I can take care of that, I have to be able to stay in my home. Your assistance would allow me to do that, and I would never forget your kindness and support during this difficult time. I want to say thank you in advance to everyone who allows me to hold onto to my home as I recover.
