I Recently Became a Homeowner, but I'm Behind on My Mortgage Due to COVID & Need Help!

My Story:

I'm a single mother of two beautiful children, an 11-year-old daughter and a 22-year-old son who is away at college. My 11-year-old daughter is very active and partakes in ballet classes. She also attends catholic school, and her tuition there is also part of our monthly expenses. Currently, I work as a drug and alcohol counselor, and I'm very passionate about my job but am also worried about my agency's ability to sustain itself due to Covid-19.

We've lost a lot of participants and a lot of our funding due to the pandemic, so I'm worried that cutbacks are coming soon. Even if they don't come, my paychecks have been lower, and my bills have been a lot higher. My daughter has been schooling from home, and I've been working from home for the most part, so our utility and grocery bills have been through the roof. I don't qualify for government programs that can assist us with a utility bill or anything like that, so we haven't gotten any relief in the regard. I'm most worried about our mortgage payment though because we're in danger of falling behind this month. I've only been a homeowner since 2019, and I don't want to fall into bad standing credit-wise. Therefore, I'm asking for help with our mortgage and with our utility bills as well.

Getting this help with both of those bills would be huge for us because we'd be entirely caught up on everything we've fallen behind on. I'm hoping my daughter will go back to school soon and that our utility bills return to normal so that we can stay up to date on those. As for our mortgage, I'll be able to handle it completely once our utility bills return to normal. On behalf of my daughter and I, we want to say thank you to everyone who helps us in advance.
