I Was A Server Before COVID, & I'm Still Not Back to Work & Need Help With Rent Please!

My Story:

I'm a single woman living by myself currently, and all of my immediate family lives out of state. I'm currently unemployed due to the pandemic, and after my unemployment benefits ran out, I've really been struggling to take care of my bills. My family are all in a similar situation, so we can't really afford to lean on each other during these difficult times.

When the pandemic started, my restaurant closed down and laid me off. I was making good money before that happened, and it was always fairly easy for me to pay my bills. However, now without the unemployment benefits I was getting, it's been impossible to take care of all of my bills on time. As I said before, my family can't afford to help me out because they're in the same situation I'm in, so that's why I'm asking for help now. I'm worried about getting too far behind on my rent to catch up, and I need help if I'm going to avoid being evicted.

I know the moratorium on evictions has been expanded, but I'm still in danger of losing my home. My landlord hasn't really been willing to work with me and is looking to obtain a judgement against me that would force me to leave my home. I don't have anywhere to go and would almost certainly fall into a cycle of poverty that would be completely inescapable. I couldn't be more thankful for this assistance, and I promise to pay it forward when I'm able to again.
