This person has left the following thank you note:

User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeThank you so much from the bottom of my heart for this incredible blessing. I will admit, I was starting to feel very depressed and hopeless seeing that I was so far away from my goal every day. Mental health is such an important factor in getting through debt, potential homelessless/eviction, job hunting, or even just waking up to shower and get dressed. With that being said, to any and all who donated to my cause and contributed to this blessing, I want you to know that I couldn't possibly express my loving gratitude to the fullest extent in this small message. Just know that your part in helping me has truly saved my life in many ways, and I cannot wait to use this blessing to get back up onto my feet again and give back to the community and others who need help just like I did. Thank you, yet again, and with all of the love in my heart for everyone who donated, happy Valentine's Day. Best, Seth

I'm Set to Be Evicted by the End of This Month if I Can't Pay My Rent! Please Help.

My Story:

I'm a 25-year-old disabled student, and I currently live alone. Since my office closed due to Covid-19, I've been having a really tough time bringing in enough money to pay my bills. My unemployment application has been pending for over two months, and as a result, I'm about two months behind on all of my bills; my rent, my health insurance, my car insurance, my phone bill, and my electric bill are all two months behind. I've always been able to put myself through life on my own means, but when it comes to this situation, I'm at a loss.

I've worked hard to save over the years, and I've completely run out of everything now. I just had to apply for food stamps this morning because I can barely find enough money to buy food. I apply for work on an almost hourly basis, and I still can't find anything to do for an income. All of that, on top of the fact that my unemployment has been pending for over two months now, has put me significantly far behind. I desperately need help if I'm going to catch up, and the unemployment that I will hopefully receive won't be enough to cover everything or come in time to cover urgent bills. That's why I'm humbly asking for help with my rent that I owe. I've worked out a deal with my landlords where I can pay back a month of rent and they'll give me time to catch up on the rest of it. However, evictions are legal in North Carolina starting at the end of January, so I need to be caught up before then.

Getting this help would be a lifesaver for me. I'll be able to keep my home while I continue to search for a job and wait for my unemployment benefits to arrive. I know that if I can just race against time for a little longer, I'll be able to get back to appoint where I can take care of myself again. That being said, I know how important this type of help can be, so I don't want to just take care of myself; I want to pay the help I get forward. Genuinely, I want to thank everyone who takes the time to even just consider my story.
