After Being In & Out of Work, I Need Help Keeping My Home Please!
My Story:
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, I was working full-time as a warehouse worker and was able to get by doing that. Before that, I was in the hospitality industry for about 8 years as well. I live by myself and have been working to support myself for as long as a I can remember. However, with the pandemic, I've been out of work off and on for several months, and right now, I'm out of work completely.
It's been impossible to find and keep work during this pandemic. I lost my job back when the pandemic began and found one a few months afterwards only to be laid-off again just a few months after I started working. Like I said, being in and out of work makes paying bills incredibly difficult. I don't receive unemployment benefits, so I have basically no income right now and no way to pay my rent. Until I can find stable work again, I desperately need help paying my rent.
I've always been able to take care of myself and pay my bills on time, so it's difficult for me to ask for help; however, I know that if I want to keep my home, then I have to swallow my pride and reach out for assistance. I'm already working hard to find employment again, and I have several job interviews lined up for after New Years that I'm hoping will turn into something stable. I know that if I can make it to a point where I have a stable income again, then I'll be alright. This help would get me to that point, and for that, I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you for your consideration and kindness during these uncertain times.
