I am a Single Mother of Two and We are Going to Lose Our Home if we Don't Get Help Soon!
My Story:
I am a single mother of two beautiful children. My 16-year-old daughter suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and my 15-year-old son is the best younger brother she could ask for and is a huge help to both of us. My family means everything to me, and I have always done my best to make sure that my children have everything they need.
However, providing for them lately has gotten hard. I was recently furloughed from my job as a result of the pandemic, so I have had to choose between paying our rent or putting food on the table. I have not been able to find part-time work either because I lost access to childcare when I lost my job. We desperately need help paying our rent right now because I have to put food on the table for my kids and I cannot do both.
This funding would give us the time we need until my job resumes and I can go back to work. I think things will pick up soon, but until then we need a little help to tide us over during these difficult times. This help would be an absolute blessing to my family, and I will make sure my kids never forget the help they have received today. Thank you all for your generosity during these crazy and difficult times.
