This person has left the following thank you note:
I would like to take this time to say, Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. My family and I truly now do believe there are good people out there. I know you already hear this a lot, but I know you have changed my family's feeling on helping others. Just last week we donated some time to help feed the less fortunate. And it was a feeling I have not felt in a very long time. With the help you have gave my family, we can now not stress if we are going to have a car to get to appointments, boys have to be drove to school due to virtual school they still have work to hand in, I can get back and forth to work with now worries, and take husband to doctor appointments. This time we are slowly starting to come out of this hole of bills. I guess you never know when you need help. And very blessed that we are given this opportunity of help. Again thank you all for this gift and we will never forget this.
I Need Help Keeping My Car so That I Can Continue to Work for My Family!
I am a wife and a mother to two boys, Zion and Jacob. They are our entire world and we do everything that we can in order to raise them correctly. They absolutely love sports, especially basketball! While I work full-time at Henkel, my husband is unable to work due to a medical condition that causes him to suffer from mini strokes. He has recently become unemployed as a result of this condition, and we are struggling financially now.
I am technically an essential worker, but I have had to miss time recently to take care of my family. I have burned through my 401K in order to pay our rent but have struggled to pay other bills because my husband has been unable to get disability due to the pandemic having shut down most courts. We need this grant to tide us over until my husband can collect disability and until my children can go back to school. We will use this funding to pay for our car, being that we cannot afford to lose it since I will not be able to go to work if we do.
This help will get us back on track and it will buy us some much-needed time until my husband can get his disability payments. I know the importance of having a community to lean on and in these times that is especially true, so I promise that in the future my family and I will help others where and when we can. I know that God is watching over us, and I have faith that our situation will get better. I am very grateful for the generosity and kindness that has been shown to my family in advance. Thank you all for your consideration.
