I want to thank everyone who has made this happen. It is wonderful how generous people are in this world and a very good people. Getting the email that my amount was reach was the best email I seen. It came at the perfect time since both my parents are sick at the same time. My mother had surgery at Duke university hospital and my dad was at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville North Carolina which stage 4 cancer at the same time. I haven't taken care of both of them for the past 4 weeks so I haven't had any money coming in. Thank you thank you thank you for everything!!!! I truly can't express how grateful I am.
Coronavirus: A Single Mom With an Auto-immune Disease Needs Mortgage Help
I am a single mom to a wonderful son, who I home school. When I am not teaching him, he loves to read books and play on his computer. Also, we have an adorable Pomeranian puppy that we rescued for an abusive home. She is a bit of a barker and does not trust people too much, but she is as cute as a dog can get and my son and I absolutely love her.
I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called PBC last year. My medical bills piled up rapidly and put me behind on my mortgage. I finally got a modification on my mortgage after working with our mortgage company. However, I have been laid off from work due to the Covid-19 pandemic and I have no clue when I will be going back, so I really need help with paying my mortgage.
This funding will help with the payments on my house and it will help me get back on track towards paying them on time. It would be a tremendous relief to know that we can stay in the home my son has grown up in so far. I know things will start opening back up soon so I can go back to work. Thank you all for your help and for your consideration.
