Coronavirus: Single Mom Needs Help With Electric Bill

My Story:

I am a single mother to my 24-year-old son who has successfully graduated college recently. He is a wonderful son and I consider myself truly blessed to be his mother. We are both very close and we enjoy spending time outside and we go camping when we can. I work as a full-time customer service representative and he lives out of state and found work there as an electrician.

I am living off of one income currently because of the pandemic and I am not able to work a second job due to concerns over my health and safety. I am sure that my story is one of many, as I know everyone's funds are coming up very short when we are all trying to make ends meet. I have been trying very hard to work with the income that I have, but my electric bill is overwhelming and I am worried that they may cut my power soon, which would prevent me from going to and from work effectively. My income is minimal enough to the point that I usually live paycheck to paycheck, often having little to put away in terms of savings. Prior to the pandemic, I was working with a financial advisor offered by my employer in order to put a savings plan in place, but the account that I was working with has basically been drained since then. Currently, I need help paying my electric bill.

This funding will help me get current on this bill and it will help me stay afloat during this extremely difficult time. Thank you all for your consideration and for your time.
