Relocated and Lost Hours During Slow Season, Please Help With My Electric Bill
My Story:
I am a single man in my 50s, living with my beagle. I moved to the panhandlers of Florida to be near my mom. She is 76 years old. My career is restaurant hospitality.
I never knew this was a 'seasonal town' until I ran into low hours when the season ended. Now I struggle unlike I ever imagined. I tried to find other ways to earn money with my company, but I was too low on the totem pole. I didn't want to lose my position but sought other employment on the side. The time it took to find another job to offer supplement hours caused me to fall behind. I now need your help with my electric bill.
Financially, any assistance would help me make it until busy season starts again in late February. Then I can build a savings should this odder again. Personally, any help would remind me that there are good people out there. I would do the best I can to never be in this situation next year or any time again. Thank you.
