User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeFrom the bottom of my heart and all the love that I can possibly pour out to each and every one of you a huge THANK YOU for assisting me with paying my rent. Your help means the world to me. I continue to search for a part time job because I want to not only help myself with my finances but I would like to be one to help others just like you have helped me. This assistance takes so much weight off my shoulders and prevents us from being evicted. Again THANK YOU SO MUCH. I wish everyone who helped my son and I a wonderfully blessed Happy New Year. I would also like send a huge THANK YOU to Modest Needs for having this organization that has assisted us and so many other families. With lots of love, Diana.

Single Mother With No Support Needs Your Help To Save Home

My Story:

I am a full time employee in a new job that I started 5 months ago as Human Resources & Payroll Administrator. I have excelled in my responsibilities. I am a mother to a 14 year old, that is a freshman in high school and is an athlete. He is on the honor roll, an accomplished football player and earned the student of the month for November.

I had to move to a new apartment due to the school zones switching and due to my son's school area and practices which I have to drive him to due to no bus transportation. I can afford all my financial responsibilities but I am 1 paycheck behind since the move. I have applied to several part time jobs but I have had no luck to be hired. Due to moving I had to pay a deposit and first months rent and lost 2 weeks of pay because I moved to a new job as well. I need your help to catch me up on my rent.

With your help, I would be able to pay for my car, buy groceries, pay my light bill, and car insurance with my latest paycheck. If I pay all be above then I won't be able to pay rent until my next paycheck which would cause late fees. If I am blessed with the assistance to pay my December rent then I will be totally caught up. I still want to find a part time job to have a little bit more money to buy other necessities for myself and my son. Your assistance would relieve a large amount of stress, worries, and sleepless nights. I only wish to be caught up and be able to enjoy the feeling of paying my rent without fees and not receive another eviction notice.
