User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeThank you so much for your assistance. I just found out last night that my family´┐Żs request was funded. You do not know how much this will help my family. The pressure it will take off me and my wife. It means so much to us that people whom we have never met have given of themselves to help a stranger in need. This is truly a blessing and at this time of year, it restores our faith in humanity to know that there are people who are willing to give. We will now be able to catch up on our rent, pay the late fees and stay ahead so we do not have to pay so much in late fees anymore. The stress this will take off my wife and me is unmeasurable. Not having to pay the late fees will all us to pay the water bill. Thank you again for your support.

My Wife is VERY ill. Her Copays Suddenly Tripled. We're Behind On Rent & Scheduled for Eviction.

My Story:

I am a married man, living with my wife and our 16 year old daughter who is a high school sophomore. Our 20 year old twin boys are currently in college. We enjoy spending time together as a family when we can. My wife is fully disabled and has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, High Blood Pressure, Neck and Back Pain, Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder and a whole list of other ailments. It's harder and harder for her to do any physical activity at all, and she spends a lot of time in the hospital. I drive a truck full time to provide for us.

Not long ago, the company I work for changed insurance policies, and my wife's medical copays suddenly tripled. We just weren't prepared for this expense, and then, to make matters worse, two weeks ago, I had to go to the ER and was hospitalized for a week, and off of work for another week. With all the medical bills piling up and time missed from work. we are simply not able to afford our rent this month. Our landlord hasn't been very patient with us, and three days ago, we got a notice saying that if our rent isn't paid within 3 days, we'd have to leave our apartment.

This is hard for me but my wife and child are about to be homeless, so I don't have any choice but to admit that this month, I just can't pay the rent without some help. So I'm here asking very humbly if you'll please help us to pay rent just this one time. This funding would allow us to get back on track with our bills and allow us to keep the home for us and our children. It will allow us to focus on our health and not worry about being homeless and in chronic pain. We appreciate any help that you can provide. Thank you so much for helping us to start the new year in our home.
