Thank you so much for the kindness you have shown me on my post. I never thought people with such kindness exist in this world anymore. There are so much ugly things going on around the world and I never believed that strangers could help another stranger in desperate times. But, this funding got my faith in humanity back, that some people out there truly are good-hearted and willing to help without hesitations. This means so much to me for now I could catch up with my bill and continue with my day to day activities without the scare of getting my lights cut off. Please Help Single Mother Keep Lights On After Unusually Large Electric Bill
My Story:
I am a hardworking mother of an 11 year old son. He loves sports especially basketball but he is currently attending school in the Philippines. He attends summer activities and definitely loves going to school. I work full-time as a store Associate at my local grocery store.
I earn money enough to pay my rent and bills every month. I have no savings set aside though. I was out of a car for a year which puts me in a really tight financial bind because I cannot pick up hours at a different store. A car is very important where I live so I put money down on a car financing so I can get more hours at my job. Anyway, I got behind on my electric bill, and when I moved to my current location, the electric company put ALL my past due amounts onto the first bill due immediately instead of on an installment plan. This puts me in an unexpected financial bind, and I really need help with my electric bill. Without help, we will lose power soon, and then we'll have to pay new deposits. That'll just make things worse!
This funding will take the burden off of my shoulders. Once my account is current, it will make it easier for me to afford its monthly recurring charges. I just need this help one time to take care of things and get me back on my feet. I already once lost my hope in humanity and this funding could turn that around.
