User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeThank you, thank you, thank you! A million times over, thank you! This help will do more for us than you know. Not only in securing the place we call home, but generally helping us get back on our feet after the unexpected events. And equally as important, boosting our whole morale. You never think these type of situations will happen to you when you are going about life and everything is looking good, then all of the sudden a series of misfortunate events can happen and knock you right off your feet. As difficult as this time has been, this moment right now is so eye opening and I am so incredibly grateful. This kind of help is also something you dont think will happen to you, but it has. And it can. And just thanks again so much from the bottom of our hearts. We wont forget this help. In the future at a tiime in our lives that allows us to help others in a similar situation, we will.

Young Family Needs Rental Help After Unexpected Medical Costs For Surgery

My Story:

We are a young family of three who live simply and live happily. We recently had our first child and have been absolutely loving watching her grow and change. She recently turned 6 months and I have been staying home with her in order to provide the best care possible for her. Her father is the sole breadwinner and works away 4 days out of the week in order to provide for all of us. He is an extremely hard working, prideful, loyal, and independent man. We love to get outside all together as much as possible, and to visit family and friends!

The short term financial hardship that has caused us to seek help is our breadwinner suffered kidney stones for the first time. We could not figure out the diagnosis at first and he was seen at many immediate clinics before going to the hospital. During these visits he had X-rays, cat scans, medications, and co-pays to pay. These expenses piled up very, very quickly, especially during the holiday season. We now need Modest Needs help with our rental payment.

We are currently 8 days late and received a letter that we will need to pay within 3 days or be evicted. We are worried we may lose the place we call home, if we do not pay our rent by January 12, 2018. This funding will help bring us current on our rent and have a huge burden lifted off of us. Your help will allow us to get back on track. The help would be such a blessing to us and we would absolutely pass on blessings to others as soon as we are able as well.
