I thought after checking the status with no progress with in a few weeks that I wouldn�t get any help. I became very discouraged ! Then just the other day feeling very overwhelmed with things to do, kids fundraisers and bills and kids field trips, and me not being able to do anything about it because I work so much right now and my kids can�t afford me to be gone if I picked up another job at this time. Then I got this email that my request was funded! I am over joyed that my mortgage will be completely covered!! Especially when I found out! Single Mother of Two Needs Mortgage Help
My Story:
I'm a single mother of two children. My son is 14, my daughter 9. We're a Christian family and we love Jesus! I minister to single moms on healthy relationships. I also teach budgeting so it hurts me to ask for help. I own my home and I work full time as a social worker.
This month, Christmas was a little tighter than usual as I refused to use credit cards and it was my first full year of home ownership. I also had to renew my license and my plates. I'm now behind and late on my mortgage. In the past I've gone back to my ex when things got tight especially around the holidays but he's very unhealthy and toxic for me and my kids. He would have helped with this but I refuse to go back no matter what. My garage is full of trash because the trash bill was declined and finally I paid it today. I need Modest Needs help with my mortgage payment.
We live paycheck to paycheck but can cover our monthly bills. I was not ready for these unexpected bills and now I need your help to catch up. This would be a huge blessing, it would catch us up and I won't drown in late fees. Your assistance would keep a roof over my children's heads.
