This person has left the following thank you note:
To Everyone Who Helped Me, I want to give a huge thank you for everyone who was willing to chip in and help out a stranger in need. This could not have come at a better time for me as I just finished court hearing and facilitator meeting the past 2 weeks where the judge said he will not look at increasing child support until our trial date in Aug. So, I even asked my ex-husband last week in our facilitator meeting if he was ready to tell my kids it's because of him I would be looking at selling the home. And to make things even more difficult in a time of need my ex-husband was part of the government shutdown so I didn't receive 1.5 payments of the child support in the month of January so all bills have been so tight. I did not know how I would be making the next mortgage payment. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am for the honor of you choosing to help!!! I received the email and called my mom in tears at 11pm trying to explain to her about this. By the end we were both in tears. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Misty
Single Mother Going Through 2nd Custody Battle, Please Help With Mortgage
I'm a single mom of 2 children who I split 50/50 custody with my ex-husband. I have been lucky enough to follow my passion of coaching gymnastics for the past 25 years. Although I live paycheck to paycheck, I am able to support myself and kids while following my passion. My kids are so happy go lucky and they know mom can't afford the luxuries their dad can. My 9 year old daughter is in Troops and 7 year old son plays baseball.
I have been divorced for 3.5 years and this is my 2nd custody battle my ex-husband has put me in. I have been in 2 relationships and each time my ex has hired a Private Investigator to follow them. The hardships of hiring an attorney to fight for my kids again has completely drained me. It's my ex's goal to financially bankrupt me so I'll give up. I can't keep going and my house will have to be the first thing that goes to be able to keep affording attorney fees. I need your help with my mortgage payment.
This funding will help ease the stress I constantly feel. I've had to put attorney fees on credit cards. Your help will show my children that there are good people in this world who do care. I'm hoping in the next month that the courts see through everything and will have my ex help pay attorney fees. I'm hoping my kids see that I will fight tooth and nail for them and I'm not afraid to ask for help when it has gotten too much too bear.
