We work so very hard each day with my wife raising our daughter and me working two jobs to make ends meet. It's difficult to get through each month, but we do. When we had to send our daughter to the ER, we were thankful that she recovered well. But were shocked at the bills. Veteran, Teacher, and New Parent Needs Rental Help After Infant's Medical Bills
My Story:
I am a married father of a beautiful baby girl. My wife and I went through many misadventures and difficult times to bring her into the world. Now she is here and she is the light of our life. We are so grateful for our bundle of joy. I am a Veteran and public school teacher and my wife has an on-line job that brings in some money while she cares for our girl. We love to go for walks and point out the world to our daughter.
We earn enough to pay for our monthly expenses, but we live paycheck to paycheck. We have trouble setting aside savings for emergency expenses. Shortly after birth, our baby developed an infection and we had to take her to the ER. The costs of the bills have put us in an unexpected financial bind. At first we didn't pay the ER bill, then they threatened to send it to collections. Paying the ER bill has put us in a very stressful and unexpected financial bind. We are asking for Modest Needs help with our Rent.
This payment will bring our household current with one of our most important bills and help us regain a sense of stability. I have secured an additional part-time job that will begin in the New Year. This will help us finally begin to accumulate savings and not have to reach out for assistance. Someday we hope to return the favor to someone else in need. Thank you so much.
