Help Parents With Insurance For Child With Heart Condition
My Story:
My husband and I have four amazing boys. Our oldest is a full time student at SDSU, the second oldest is a senior in high school and our twin boys are freshmen. We have two little poodles Max and Valentina and my mother is 75 years old who I take care of.
On September 30th our medical insurance got terminated. This was extremely problematic as our high school senior was born with a complete Congenital Heart block. He has a pacemaker and has had several heart surgeries. He needs to see the pulmonary specialist and the heart failure team every three months at Children's Hospital for an electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, X-ray, pacemaker check etc. CCS California Children Services offered us a program to enroll, it will only cover his Cardiologist needs and visits to the hospital but still will help us tremendously. It costs $1,200.00 dollars to cover him for the year. We don't have the way to pay for it since we have our other bills so we really need Modest Needs help with this bill.
Your help will really make a long lasting impact on our family. We will be able to look, apply and pay for an alternate medical insurance for the whole family and it will give us the peace of mind knowing that our son is covered in case of very possible emergencies. This could save his life. Thank you so much in advance for every thing.
