Single Mom Needs to keep Utilites On After Job Loss
My Story:
I am a single mother sharing custody of my 13 year old who lives with me Sunday through Wednesday morning. I work full-time doing accounts receivable for a large landscape company to support myself and my child. We enjoy spending all the time together that we can.
I lost my job at the end of June and just recently started a new job a month ago. I have always made enough to pay my basic expenses every month, but I live paycheck to paycheck. I have managed to catch up on all my expenses, except for my electricity. During the 2 months I was out of work, I also had to pay for new brakes on my car. Now my electric is currently 2 months past due and I need Modest Needs help to catch up.
If I could get a one time assistance to pay this electric bill, I will be able to stop worrying about my utilities getting shut off and not being able to have my child stay with me. Thank you so much for any help you can give me.
