Veteran And Counselor In Training Needs Car Repair In Order To Complete Her Education.

My Story:

I am the widow of a veteran and my father is a veteran as well. Right now, I am taking care of my parents while trying to complete my education. I was recently approved for a program to become a Certified Addiction Counselor. I have been sober for five years and changed my life in so many different ways. Helping others who are struggling with addiction is my dream. Please help me achieve my dream.

Recently my check engine light came on and I found out that I have an oil leak. My mechanic told me to avoid driving as much as possible until I get the repairs. If I drive with low oil or insufficient oil pressure, I could destroy my engine. I need to complete volunteer hours for my counseling program and having a reliable car will be essential for that. I won't be able to afford this car repair without Modest Needs' help.

Your kindness will help me get back and forth to the store, to school, and to the doctor's office. This vehicle is our only transportation and if we can't get it fixed, not only will it derail my education, but our day to day lives as well. We need your help to keep moving forward with our lives. I really want to give back to my community by counseling others, but I won't be able to do that without your assistance.
