I Missed Work For Surgery And Fell Behind On Utilities. Please Help Me Start Over.
My Story:
I am currently married but separated due to domestic violence. I am raising two daughters ages 10 and 5, on my own now. I work full time in property management and I am a full-time student pursuing my BA in Criminal Justice. My daughters and I love being outdoors. We love taking our family dog Rocky with us to the park because he loves to run.
I am the sole provider in our home even when I was with my husband. I was living paycheck to paycheck but managing to stay afloat until I received some bad news from my doctor, which led to me going in for surgery January 10th. With my short-term disability check and using my vacation time saved up, I managed to pay our rent and put food on our table, but I had no choice but to let my utilities fall behind. I need Modest Needs' with this bill to get back on track.
I cry because I am trying to pay everything and get caught back up while dealing with the sadness of what I just went through with my husband. I am just returning to work after surgery and trying to stay afloat for my children and it has been hard. You will truly be a blessing to myself and children. This will relieve a lot of stress and allow me to focus on navigating the divorce and caring for my kids. Your help would bring me current on our bills and finally be able to take a breather and work on being a single parent.
