Need Utility Help After Premature Birth And Maternity Leave
My Story:
I am a married mother of two amazing sons. My 2-year-old is full of energy, adventure and has the kindest heart. My 3-month-old is full of smiles and love. Both my children love to giggle and laugh. My husband is a stay-at-home-parent due to daycare being more expensive than the paychecks he would bring home. I work full-time as a customer accounts manager for a water treatment company.
I earn enough pay for the basic expenses every month. But I did not have enough savings set aside when I went into labor unexpectedly and had my son one month prematurely. My pay was reduced to half while on maternity leave. I had to go back to work earlier than my allowed six weeks in order to minimize the financial crisis. However, I am struggling to catch up while still living paycheck to paycheck. We need Modest Needs' help to catch up on our utilities.
This funding would help my household have the utility bills current and would allow me to regain the financial footing that I lost while on maternity leave. This would help alleviate some stress which is contributing to post-partum depression. Your help would make a long-lasting impact on our family, and would set a wonderful example for our children. It would allow them to see that people can really make a difference in the lives of others and that it is important to understand what other people are going through. Thank you for your kindness.
