Disabled Veteran Needs Rental Help

My Story:

I am a widower and have one playful and energetic 2 year old daughter. She's very loving and loves to eat everything. We're transitioning from active duty military back to reserve status after almost 10 years here in Gulfport, MS.

My official out date was 8 January 2018. My spouse passed away in December 2013. Due to unforeseen over payment in which the Department of the Army has stated, I have received 0.00 no pay due on my final payment transitioning from Active Reserve status. I am pending 50% disability pay from the Veterans Affairs and it is still in process. We are short of rental assistance due to the Basic Housing allowance paid for February 2018 . I need Modest Needs help with my rent.

With rental assistance from modest needs, it would allow us housing for February 2018 and a little more time for my pending disability funding to be processed from the Veterans Affairs compensation department. Please know that we're grateful for any assistance possible and allow us to be a testimony to all transitioning military families in need.
