Hello On behalf of my wife and myself , we would like to thank each and every donor from the bottom of our hearts for their help . It only solidifies that there are still people in the world that love to help others as it should be. We thank the good people at Modest Needs for their part in helping people around the world and bringing us all closer to the world that should be . My wife and I have been hard workers since we were children , ( paper routes ,working at the local market etc ) and as adults we have worked and provided for our children and grandchildren, this is what family does . But when you get to a point in life where illness plays a factor and you can no longer hold a job or function as you normally have , then sometimes , disadvantage will be present in your life , and you have to reach out to someone and so we are so grateful to all of you that helped us and donated, we feel like we have extended family . Senior Couple Needs Help With Car Insurance After 2 Surgeries
My Story:
We are senior citizens who have been married for 37 years. We are grandparents and parents of 2 lovely children and 2 grandchildren. We have worked all of our lives and now at this age, our health is not what it used to be. We both suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and my wife just had surgery for diverticulitis.
My wife had 2 surgeries in 2 months and I had to stay home to help her with her medical needs. This kept me from working my part time job which we use to supplement our retirement income. This time off caused us to fall behind on our car insurance. We need Modest Needs assistance to get caught back up.
This funding will get us caught back up on our payments. We need the car for doctor's appointments and transportation for work. Our children live out of state and have their own families so we try not to bother or count on them. This funding will show us how goodness returns to people. Thank you.
