With your help we now can have a more relaxed and wonderful Christmas not having to worry about the past rent that is due and where we are going to get the money. This is the best Christmas present anyone could give us. I want to say a Thank You to all. Thank You as you do not know the stress that this has taken off my shoulders and especially my wife. She handles the bills and with her disability she worries so much about paying the bills and trying to pay them On time. She worries so much that she makes her anxiety so much worse to the point that she becomes physically ill. I thank you for easing her anxiety especially at this time during Christmas. Need Rental Help Due to Gap in Employment
My Story:
I am married to my wife and I am a father of a set of twin boys. One is away at college and the other lives with me and will be attending college next semester. I am also the father of 14 year old daughter. I normally drive a truck delivering dry concrete. My wife is disabled.
Recently I was let go from my job. It has taken me several months to find another job which I started in September 2017. Unfortunately being out of work for those couple of months I was unable to pay for our monthly bills. I am needing Modest Needs help to pay our rent and late fees before we are evicted. I am afraid that the landlord is going to file for eviction and my wife with her disability just could not go through a move right now. My wife currently need two more surgeries which each one has a facility copay of $264. She already had 4 this year.
If we can get help with the rent it will help me be able to catch up on my other bills and get back on track. Even with my new job, I just do not see how I can get caught up if I have to pay rent and late fees and all the utilities and then rent again on October 1 st. Thank you so much.
