Building a New Life on My Own, Need Help with My Financial Foundation
My Story:
I am 45-year-old woman living with my 21-year-old son. I work full time at a factory assembling electrical enclosures and part-time cleaning our local senior center. My son, who was laid off from a job and is currently looking for another, has been working with me at the cleaning job. I appreciate his help both at work and at home.
I recently separated from my husband after years of emotional abuse. I am working hard to make it on my own. I'm glad I could get a second job, but I got behind on a few bills, such as the mortgage payment during my employment search.
We need help from Modest Needs because I have been juggling utility payments, grocery costs and car payment and insurance while trying to get the mortgage caught up. I would like to be able to get back to square one and begin paying all my bills on time.
This funding will help us to get back on our feet and will set us up to be financially stable again. It will also end a lot of worry on my part as to how everything is going to work out. Thank you for your kind support as I start a new chapter in my life.
