Utility Help After Unexpected Repairs and Medical Bills Put Me Behind
My Story:
I am a 57-year-old, educated and single man. Due to some bad luck and unfortunate choices I am employed below my qualifications and making far less than I did just five years ago.
Although I make enough to live on, there is very little wiggle-room. I live in a duplex, which I inherited from my father. I rent out the other half which almost covers the mortgage. My tenant stopped paying rent, followed by some unexpected repairs and medical bills. It feels like one crisis after another. I've made some changes to my mortgage and insurance that will help me save a little every month to prepare for things like this in the future.
I've fallen behind and just need a little help to get caught up. Your kindness now will bring my bills current and allow me to keep moving forward. Thank you for your consideration.
