Hardworking Family Needs Mortgage Help after Loved One's Unexpected Passing
My Story:
I am a married father of a beautiful young child. Our daughter loves to dance and play. She is also incredibly smart! My wife is a beautiful woman who is passionate about life. Her mother passed away unexpectedly just a few months ago, and my wife misses her deeply. She continues to grieve regularly. We all do.
I work a full-time job, and my earnings are decent, but not great. I earn enough to pay for all our regular bills and living costs, but I can't set aside savings for any major expenses outside of our budget. We were taken off guard by my mother-in-law's passing, and did not see this expense coming. Although she did have life insurance coverage, she had not met the two year waiting period for it to go into effect, and it could not be used to cover her final arrangements. We also inherited my mother-in-law's little dog, which is a bit of an adjustment for us. We managed to pay for the funeral costs, but now find ourselves behind on other bills and incurring late fees.
We are requesting Modest Needs' assistance to catch up with our mortgage. This will allow us to recover from the financial aspect of this unforeseen hardship, and will put us back on schedule with our house payments. I've been juggling these expenses for the past few months, and doing my best to try to fix things on my own, but I know without help, we could potentially face the treat of home foreclosure.
My mother-in-law's passing was extremely hard on my family, as we were very close with her. I am doing all I can to be strong for my wife and my daughter, and know I need to ask for this help to get back on track. This would make a huge difference for us by alleviating the financial worry and allowing us to focus on moving forward. Thank you so much for your consideration.
