I would like to take this time out to express to each and everyone of you from state-to-state across the country wherever you may live thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time out of your life to contribute to my application and my outcry for help to pay my rent during my time of need. I cannot say thank you enough and how much this means to me this will take so much burden and worries off of me knowing that people like you took the time out and felt the need to help me . Unable to Pay Rent while on Unpaid Medical Leave from Work
My Story:
I live with my developmentally-challenged adult son, and work full-time. My son has a part-time job. He is not able to drive, so as his mother and his advocate, I make sure he gets to work and home safely. I have a chronic illness that recently caused me to take a temporary, unpaid leave of absence from work.
We always seem to live from paycheck to paycheck, but I never complained. Now that I am on medical leave from work, and have no savings to use while I am without pay, I am becoming very worried about our financial situation.
I am asking for Modest Needs' help with our rent this month. I am terrified we will lose our home and have nowhere to go if we do not find some assistance to keep us afloat while I am without pay.
This funding will give us a sense of stability and lift a great deal of worry off of me. We would truly appreciate your help!
