Behind on Rent after Health Issues Caused Temporary Income Loss

My Story:

I am a 58-year-old woman, who went to culinary school and loves to bake, read, and knit. I recently earned my real estate license and live with my son. He majors in economics at college. We love to watch bad movies, are avid video game players, and are Portland Trailblazer fans.

I recently had two minor strokes that set me back and left me temporarily unable to work. I am back to work, on a part-time basis, and my son is actively seeking employment so he can help out with our bills.

I am asking for Modest Needs to help with the remaining rental balance we owe. I was unable to cover the entire month of rent, and I fear that we could be evicted from our home.

This funding will keep us afloat now that I am getting back to work and my son is actively interviewing. Your help would give us stability as I get my career moving again. I don't know how to quit moving forward, and I won't stop now. A little help will go a long way for us, and would be so appreciated.
