Retiree Needs Rent Help after Paying for Car Repairs
My Story:
I am a retired senior. Although I live alone, my daughter lives nearby. I have 4 beautiful cockatiels who keep life interesting. I also have three sons, one of whom is in the Army. I love to spend time with my family, and miss the ones who do not live close to me.
I recently had to pay for a car repair, and this set me back financially. I had little choice, as my car is my only means of transportation and is a necessity for me to live independently.
I am asking for Modest Needs to help me with my rent. I am worried I will lose my apartment. It has been hard to be in a position where I have to choose between which bills I can pay. Rent is my most important bill, and I am already facing late charges. If I could receive this one-time help to bring my rent current, I will be able to get back on schedule with all of my bills again.
This funding will ease a tremendous amount of stress and give me a renewed sense of hope. It is wonderful to know that there are people out there who help others, even someone they do not know. I am very grateful for your consideration.
