Behind on Utilities after Paying for Car Repair Deductible
My Story:
I am single and live alone. I work full-time and live paycheck to paycheck. Despite my Master's Degree in Management, it is difficult for me to find a higher-paying job due to my age. I earn just enough to pay for my regular monthly expenses and support myself, and was not financially prepared for the unexpected expenses I recently incurred.
My car was hit by a bus inside of a parking lot. Although I was not at fault, I was still required to pay for a large deductible before insurance would pay for the remaining costs to repair the damage on my vehicle. Having to pay for this huge, unforeseen expense has put me in a major financial bind, and I have fallen short on some of my other bills since paying to fix my car.
I am seeking Modest Needs' assistance to catch up with my overdue utility bill. My utilities are at risk for disconnection at any moment. I have been juggling monthly bills since paying for the repair deductible, and I need to find some help to get back on track again.
Your assistance will enable me to recover from this unexpected financial hardship and move forward. I am continuing to look for opportunities to advance in my career, so I can better save for events like these in the future. This will alleviate a great deal of stress from me, and allow me to focus on moving forward rather than being consumed with worries over things like a utility shutoff.
