In Need of Essential Car Repairs to Continue Caring for Myself
My Story:
I am single and live alone on the fixed income I receive through Social Security. I have a medical condition that requires a lot of medical treatment, so any money not spent on my monthly bills goes to my medication costs. I do not have any savings, or anyone to help me if I am faced with an unexpected, emergency expense.
My car, which I need for day to day errands, such as purchasing groceries, as well as necessary trips to the doctor, is in urgent need of repair. The mechanic has told me it is unsafe to drive in this state, but I have no way of affording the cost to fix it.
I am requesting Modest Needs' help to fix my car. My car is the only thing that allows me to remain independent, and I am very worried over this situation that could take away my ability to take care of myself.
I do not have anyone I can turn to for help with this expense. Reaching out for your help is really the only hope I have of fixing my car at this point. If you are able to assist me, I will be able to continue living on my own and receiving the medical care I need. Thank you.
