Car Accident Caused Me to Miss Work; Please Help Me Avoid Eviction
My Story:
I am a single and independent young lady. I moved to Phoenix, AZ four years ago from New York City to gain independence and affordable costs of living. I love the sun and life in general. My goal in life is to help those that seek to help themselves. I am an independent contractor and work as a driver. On Saturday June 11th, 2016 I was in a car accident that severely damaged my vehicle. This resulted in my vehicle not being drivable, which has temporarily stopped my income. I am in the process of getting my car repaired and hope to return to work soon, but in the meantime I find myself unable to pay my rent.
I am asking Modest Needs for help with my rental payment. I have worked very hard and diligently for my home and car, and if I am unable to pay my rent I face being forced out onto the streets. I am nervous that without this help I will lose everything.
This funding will allow me to keep my housing. It will give me the time I need to fix my car and return to work. This help will make a real difference in my life and would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.
