Our Teenage Son Needs to Have His Wisdom Teeth Extracted

My Story:

I am a married mother of two beautiful children. My 17-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter are both very creative, smart, funny, and respectful people. My daughter loves to draw and sing, and my son loves to play guitar and write his own songs. We are a very close and loving family. I work full-time as an Administrative Assistant at a company that manages child care centers throughout the state. I have worked for my employer for 22 years, and am the sole provider for my family at this time.

I earn just enough to afford our basic bills and household expenses every month. I am very good at setting and maintaining our budget, but we do live paycheck to paycheck. We do not, however, have any savings. Our son is preparing to leave home to attend college this fall, and we wish we could do more to be able to help him with the expenses that come along with this huge event.

We need Modest Needs' help to pay for my son's oral surgery to extract his wisdom teeth, since our insurance will not cover this expense. Our son needs this, and all we want to do is what is best for his health and wellbeing, but we just do not have the money to pay for this big, unexpected expense. We would not be able to afford our regular bills if we were to pay for this surgery right now, and it is a really tough situation for me as a parent. W have delayed the surgery for another few weeks, as upfront payment is required for the procedure. We do not want our son to be in pain, and we really hope that you may be able to assist us in paying for his wisdom teeth extractions.

If you are able to help us pay for my son's surgery, it would relieve so much of our stress and anxiety. I need to do what is best for my son, but right now I need to ask for help to do that. Your assistance will make it possible for my son to receive the dental procedure he needs, while allowing me to keep things stable for my family. Your help would give us peace of mind and lift a huge burden off of our shoulders. We would be so grateful and forever changed by this kindness. It is so difficult for me to ask for help, but it is inspiring and motivating us to pay it forward someday when we are able.
